This letter is to express my interest in your job advertisement regarding the Assistant Editor role advertised on journalism.co.uk. Please accept my CV for your consideration.

I am currently studying BTEC Media, Photography and Games Development in College (full-time) meaning that I am creative, hard-working and I can work in a team and individually. I also have a BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Media which shows that I have the abilities to always meet deadlines.

My main interest is editing but I also enjoy working in a group to create an overall product. This means that I also have to be organised and optimistic which I believe will also help me in this job. I have a high level of enthusiasm and a willingness to learn new skills which I made need.
